Our practitioners are carefully selected based on their experience and background to match the requirements of the school or college. They are paired with a specially trained therapy dog that has undergone extensive training and assessments to ensure their suitability for the role.  This unique partnership creates a pivotal platform to provide this specialist support and strategies to the educational establishments and students that we work with.

We will work with you to create a bespoke package focussed on areas identified for each student.  We are flexible in our approach and can offer one-to-one and group sessions.

 Consultancy interventions include:

  • Emotional and behavioural regulation
  • Social anxiety
  • Literacy support
  • General classroom support
  • Exam support
  • Improve self-esteem and confidence
  • Talking therapies

We offer our services to all educational environments and are  proud to be working in state, independent and special educational needs schools as well as supporting children who are being educated at home.

Getting started

Our specially trained therapy dogs have passed extensive behavioural and suitability assessments to ensure we are providing the highest quality service.   Accompanying our dogs is an experienced professional animal assisted intervention practitioner.  We create a bespoke therapeutic programme to suit your needs and integrate ourselves seamlessly into your school/college life in order to develop lasting, consistent and beneficial relationships with pupils.  We provide all set-up materials and will prepare your school/college for our visit(s); undertaking risk assessments, addressing parental concerns and providing information for staff.

We offer a bespoke consultancy service to each education provision to ensure we fully understand the needs and goals of your establishment. Therefore, before our team arrives we will visit the school to carry out a risk assessment and work with you to identify the most suitable place for our team to work and to meet with key members of staff to address any questions.  We will require an assessment form to be filled out for each of the young people we will be working with, identifying any additional needs, areas of concern, current targets and suitability for the programme.

A regular time slot is set for the interventions to take place.  Sessions are based on a minimum of four hours per visit.

If you would like to find out more and to arrange an initial meeting please contact us.

I feel strongly that young people and parents need to know that they can ask for help. Just as with physical health, we need to act early to provide support when a child is faced with emotional difficulties.
