World Book Day, 3rd March 2022
Today is World Book Day, the theme for this year’s world book day is ‘you are a reader‘ We support children every day, helping them become “a reader” For children who find reading tricky our dogs’ presence enables them to feel confident to not only attempt to read, but be ok with making mistakes. This non-judgemental support helps to change their experience of reading as well as improve their ability to read.
To support World Book Day in our local community we have donated many copies of the wonderful children’s book Bodhi the Pirate Dog to local schools. Bodhi the Pirate Dog is a book about a brave pirate dog who compares himself to others before realising how wonderfully talented and unique he is.
